The credit union office will be closed during the annual meeting.
This year members will be able to vote for board of directors positions. Members, age 16 and over, are eligible to vote at the annual meeting. You can make your voice heard by voting in the annual election.
If you know someone that would be interested in running for Board of Directors please call USDA Credit Union and we will direct you to a board member for further information.

LOST OR STOLEN CREDIT OR DEBIT CARDS
If you discover your credit or debit cards are lost or stolen please call us immediately at 515-243-0480. If it is after our normal business hours you must call the following numbers:
Report signature based cards to MasterCard 1-800-234-5354.
Report PIN based cards to Shazam at 1-800-383-8000.
Keep these phone numbers and card numbers in a safe place. MasterCard and Shazam are open 24 hours-7 days a week just for such emergencies.
FAMILY INVOLVEMENT BOARD ANNOUNCES 2010 SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
USDA Credit Union, in conjunction with the Iowa Credit Union League Family Involvement Board, is pleased to announce the 2010 Family Involvement Board Scholarship Program, which will award $5,750.00 in college scholarships.
It is open to any USDA member who is classified as a high school senior with a projected graduation date of 2010 or any person who is entering or attending an accredited undergraduate, graduate or vocational program.
Applicants are to submit an essay that is no less than 500-600 words on the following topic:
"Research continues to show if students receive financial education early in life, they will become more successful. How will being financially literate help you achieve your individual dreams?"
Judging will be based on originality, grammar, clarity and meaningful content of the essay.
Entry forms are available at USDA Credit Union or online at www.iowacreditunions.com.
All entries must be submitted by February 5, 2010. Winners will be announced by April 16, 2010.
TAX INFORMATION 1098, 1099 AND 1099R
Your 1098 and 1099 forms will be sent in a separate mailing. If you do not receive one by January 31, 2010, contact the credit union.
You will not receive these forms unless your mortgage interest is $600 or more and/or your shares or share certificate dividends are $10 or more.
